Beaver Lake Cree Nation Chief and Council wish to advise members that, following consultation with the Agricultural Program Management Contractor and the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), the Agricultural Program will soon begin harvesting the Nation’s hay fields to provide feed for Beaver Lake Cree Nation’s bison and cattle.
This decision supports the responsible stewardship of Beaver Lake Cree Nation’s agricultural resources and the long-term sustainability of the Nation’s farming and livestock operations. Members are encouraged to read the full public notice below.
