The Pimee Education Foundation Scholarship is now open, supporting First Nations apprentices and trainees in pursuing careers in the trades and designated occupations.
This scholarship recognizes the dedication and achievements of students who are actively working toward completing their apprenticeship or occupational training programs.
Eligible applicants must be members of participating First Nations, including Beaver Lake Cree Nation, and be enrolled full-time in a trades program at an accredited institution.
Each year, scholarships are awarded to students who have completed at least one year of academic studies and are continuing their education in the trades. A total of 6 awards of $1,500 each are available.
Eligibility Highlights:
• First Nations member of a listed community
• Enrolled in a full-time trades or apprenticeship program
• Maintaining satisfactory academic standing
• Demonstrated commitment to career goals
Application Details:
Applicants are required to submit a completed application along with supporting documents such as academic and career goals, proof of apprenticeship or training, and a plan for how the funding will support their education.
