Tribal Chiefs Ventures Inc. will host a Status Card Event on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Beaver Lake Band Office. CIS cards will be issued the same day.
Applicants must bring one piece of valid government-issued identification, such as a health care card, driver’s licence, government identification card or passport. Birth certificates cannot be used as identification when applying for a hard-copy Secure Certificate of Indian Status.
Members from outside Heart Lake, Goodfish Lake (Whitefish), Cold Lake, Beaver Lake, Kehewin and Frog Lake must provide a Band verification letter or an expired status card and pay a $40 fee.
Goodfish Lake (Whitefish) members must also provide a verification letter or an expired status card.
