The Mamowe Opikihawasowin Tribal Chief Child and Family Services Prevention Program invites young men ages 12–26 from Whitefish Lake First Nation #128, Beaver Lake Cree Nation and Heart Lake First Nation to participate in the Oskinîkîw Youth Moose Camp.
The camp will provide participants with opportunities to connect with culture, learn from Elders and develop land-based skills.

Dates: October 9–12, 2026
Location: North of Smoky Lake
Eligible participants: Young men ages 12–26 from the three participating Nations
Activities and Teachings
• Moose teachings and land-based learning
• Outdoor safety
• Tracking and harvesting knowledge
• Cultural teachings
• Group activities
• Guidance from Elders
Transportation and meals will be provided.
What to Bring
• Warm clothing and extra socks
• Waterproof boots and rain gear
• Sleeping bag and pillow
• Water bottle and personal items
• Any required medication
