Beaver Lake Cree Nation members are invited to attend an information session about the upcoming Alberta referendum vote.
Date: Monday, September 28, 2026
Time: 12:00 p.m.–2:00 p.m.
Location: BLCN Community Hall
Lunch: Will be served
Members will have an opportunity to learn about the referendum and its voting options, discuss how the outcome may affect Treaty rights and the future of Beaver Lake Cree Nation, and learn more about Option 1—to remain in Canada—and the other nine options.
BLCN residents who do not have identification can also receive assistance at the session to obtain an Attestation Form. The form may be used as one piece of identification under the two-piece ID option for voting.
BLCN encourages members to vote Option 1 to remain in Canada and say no to the other nine options.
