Beaver Lake Cree Nation – Custom Membership Code (Law) Committee Call-Out
Beaver Lake Cree Nation is inviting community members to apply for one of nine positions on the Custom Membership Code (Law) Committee.
This committee will play an important role in developing and implementing a Custom Membership Code (Law) for Beaver Lake Cree Nation — an initiative aimed at strengthening self-governance, cultural integrity, and community autonomy over membership.
Available Committee Positions:
- 2 Elders living on the Nation
- 2 Elders living off the Nation
- 1 BLCN Employee (must be a Nation member employed by BLCN)
- 1 General Nation Member living on Nation
- 1 General Nation Member living off Nation
- 1 Youth Member living on Nation (ages 18–30)
- 1 Youth Member living off Nation (ages 18–30)
This is a volunteer-based committee, and members will have the option to participate remotely.
