The Beaver Lake Cree Nation Operations Department is asking all households throughout the Nation to limit water usage until further notice.
Due to above-average rainfall in our area, combined with additional rain forecasted in the coming days, road conditions throughout the Nation have deteriorated and may continue to worsen.
Considering these conditions, Operations Manager Orrin Pruden advises residents to conserve water whenever possible, as poor road conditions may result in delays to scheduled water deliveries.
We ask all households to help reduce unnecessary water consumption by:
💧 Limiting long showers and baths
💧 Reducing laundry loads where possible
💧 Running dishwashers only when full
💧 Avoiding unnecessary outdoor water use
💧 Conserving water whenever possible
These measures are being requested as a precaution to help ensure water delivery services can continue to meet community needs during this period of challenging road conditions.
